Landfills |

An operational landfill site is located in Tokoroa. A transfer station for light commercial and residential users is located at Putaruru. Greenwaste mulching takes place in Putaruru and Tokoroa. These are managed on behalf of Council by private operators, in accordance with Council's Landfill Management Plans. The service includes research and waste minimisation education.
